Cindy - the Days Inn isn't that bad. I havent personally stayed there, but it doesnt seem too shabby. I usually stay at the Courtyard in North Charleston (nice and close to the interstate) but this weekend I'm staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in North Charleston (Marriott rewards member! lol).

Going to the Zac Brown Band concert this weekend..anyone else going?! Should be a good time :)

Cindy--I've had family and friends stay at the Days Inn and they said it wasn't bad. they also give military discounts. I've stayed at a wingate before and they are nice! the one in n. chas. is actually only like 10-15 min. away, so it's not bad. it might even work out nicer..since I'm assuming he lives in the BEQ, you can't get back there with your car anyway...by the time he walks to somewhere where you can pick him up, the 10-15 will go by fast.

Chris mom-we used the uniform shop on base the first few months (bc we didn't know we could go elsewhere)..they are always backed up and i've found the service is not very good. lines are long too esp if you r just dropping stuff off. I have had problems with Sentry cleaners (closest drycleaner on base--off redbank rd in food lion plaza)..they didn't have the clothes promised on time and even called me to come in..only to find out they didn't even start on them!

The one I use (and was recommended) is on Rivers Ave...next to the Race Way gas station. It says "drycleaner" on the building..so not sure of the name lol they are efficient and quick..and i think i usually pay $6-9 for patches.

Edsmom--I don't know where you live, but I usually take it to drycleaners off base..the ones on base are usually backed up by weeks. the drycleaners usually have stuff back to me within a day or two

Thanks Darla, but I also remember someone mentioning a place off base that does a great job.
