Hello
We look forward to hearing about your sailors journey. How he/she likes being an MAA (MA) and which kind of job they are doing and how you are doing knowing what your sailor does for a living.
NOTE: Please help keep our sailors safe. Don't give out exact locations.Example: If he/she is in Iraq you can say Iraq but I would not say the name of the camp or a town near the camp. If they are on a ship don't give the last known location. Although some of that is public we don't in anyway want to jeopardize them.

I dont know if the marina duties/shifts are the same but.... Shifts are 12 hours long, work 4 days off two work 3 days of two. something like that. but many time James has been called out of bed on his days off for duty on and off base. But he's part of the special operation forces like when Bush was there James was taken off reg duty and put on him where Bush was James was. Not next to him. Anyway they carry a **** and *** there are differant post some they stand in one place others they walk the base. If they are in what I call the nest/ tower or net they stay there and there is a large gun **** at the station. I may be saying to much I will block out the weapon types with ****'s.. They carry pagers 24/7. on duty they also have a radio of course. Keep in mind that there are many diff. MA duties, marina,K9, armory, base and more...
Sheila yes I will be glad to get my arms around him.. Its been almost a year. Not sure if he will be here in Sept or Oct He's still waiting on his official orders!!!!!

Sheila I had planned on selling my leg had a buyer all set up so I could go to Bahrain but they backed out LOL. No families are not allowed to live in Bahrain they removed all non military and Non essental Embesy persons after 9/11 and have not let them come back yet. With all the countries laws, rules and traditions. I thought wise not to... besides if I looked at someone wrong or wore the wrong face cover and end up in jail. Than I would have to count on James and his friends to bring my meals :) See in Bahrain the families of the jailed have to provide there meals or hope someone would share. Yes he should, you know the Navy should get liberty for as many as 30 days before going to Sicily:)
