So good to hear from you !  Yes, I booked a room at the Navy Lodge.  I can't wait for BC to be over.  My son is going to Biloxi after graduation.  It is right by Gulfport.  I think that is where the airport is he'll be flying into.  What do they do while they wait for their school to begin?  I'm sure they just want to get going with it so their journey can continue.
I did see your pictures.  I wasn't sure where to look.  Very nice :)  Proud Mom & Dad. So, now all three of the boys are out in the world.  You just have to keep track now of who is where.  Isn't that what we've done all their lives.  I was always counting....1,2,3  okay all accounted for !

Please stay in touch and let me know how the boys are progressing.  And I am sure you are not a bad mom.  So much to remember...            Lol

I bet you are so proud of all your boys !  My son's PIR is 11/22.  I don't live far from GL but I'm thinking of going down the night before & staying at the Navy Lodge so I can go to the Meet & Greet.  It would be too much back & forth.
I saw where you said you posted pictures of this weekend but I can't find them.  Where do I look?  Also, you said your son went to Gulfport.  Is he going to A school at Kessler?  That is where Andrew is going.

You are so lucky you're done with the BC experience.  Can't wait to say the same :)

I keep telling my husband he should write Andrew, but so far he hasn't.  It's still early.

I know my boys too wonder what the big deal is being a triplet.  They don't know anything else.  I do think they like the attention though.

I read you are heading to GL this week !  How exciting...do you live very far from IL?  When my son's PIR comes I'd like to go to Sarge's meet & greet, but we live so close we'll just be driving down on Friday.  I don't know if I'll be able to make two trips.  Congratulations on the last three of the boys graduating.  You must be so proud.

I too have a hard time on this site.  There is so much info yet in so many different places !

That must have been a nice article about all the boys in your family. I find having triplets gets us a lot of attention.  When the boys were little they were always getting their picture in the paper.  It's the 15 mins. of fame :)

I got Andrew box & letter on Monday.  Kinda strange seeing his clothes in the bottom of that box.  I will find it hard to write so many letters to Andrew.  I don't live that exciting of a life.  What do I tell him everyday?  I hear they like to receive lots of mail.  I thought of just sending on everyday or so & telling him what happened even if it is boring !

Okay, so I just went and read the posts on the group & alot of the questions I asked you had already answered !  I was so excited to get a message I didn't read the group postings.

I live in Waterford WI.  It is about 40 mins. from GL.  I'm so close to Andrew yet so far....

That is so cool your boys joined together.  I guess you get used to it.  I'm much better emotionally than I was before he left.  I felt like panicky that I would see or hear from him.  He kept saying "Mom, it's only two months"  For him I'm sure the time is flying but for me it is dragging.

I don't know if I could have handled all three going in!  I applaud you :)  Yes, those are my boys in the picture.  The one to the right of me is Andrew who is in BC right now.  Did all your boys join at the same time?  How far along are they in the Navy?

I have so many questions !  I hope you don't mind.

I'm really glad to meet another Mom of triplet boys.  I know a few Mom in the area who had triplets but they are all much younger and no one with all boys.

Andrew just went in on Tues. 9/24/13.  I got his first short call but no box or letter yet.  I'm thinking maybe today.

I love your pictures.  If I can ever figure out how to do that I'll post more pics.  (Andrew always helped me)  I just figured out how to post my profile picture.

I hope to be able to keep in contact because I have so many questions !?!

You've joined some groups for HM; HM (Hospital Corpsman) A School in San Antonio will be most helpful now; also check out Basic Medical Technician Corpsman Program Facebook Page. The Rating Information Card for HM can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/hm.pdf; it indicates 19 weeks, but "A" School is 14 weeks after classing up.

I see you have joined MAA Moms; Master at Arms is a rating very dear to my heart since my Sailor is an MA. Join San Antonio MA's; the discussion, Break down week by week, will let you know what happens at NTTC Lackland (San Antonio). Other groups to check out are New MAA Mom's (it has not been very active, but is picking up lately) and Security Sailors (it is not as active and includes loved ones of Sailors from other ratings as well). The Rating Information Card for MA can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/ma.pdf.

Join PIR 10/04/2013 TG 47 – 11 Divisions (371-378, 818, 819, and 947) and Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones).

Join Seabee Moms. The Rating Information Card for Builder (BU) can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/bu.pdf and the one for Steelworker (SW) can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/sw.pdf. (Those are the Seabee ratings with "A" School in Gulfport.) Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend.

Take care and blessings to you and yours.
