Hello
We look forward to hearing about your sailors journey. How he/she likes being an MAA (MA) and which kind of job they are doing and how you are doing knowing what your sailor does for a living.
NOTE: Please help keep our sailors safe. Don't give out exact locations.Example: If he/she is in Iraq you can say Iraq but I would not say the name of the camp or a town near the camp. If they are on a ship don't give the last known location. Although some of that is public we don't in anyway want to jeopardize them.

Sheila, the History section of http://www.vfa154.navy.mil/ says, "Returning from their seven month deployment in September 2011, the Black Knights are currently scheduled to embark on their first combat tour with Carrier Air Wing ELEVEN in January 2013."  I hope that helps.

Sheila, Since he will be stationed at Lemoore, you may want to check out Lemoore NAS California Moms (clickable link).  Yes, you are correct, according to http://www.vfa154.navy.mil/, they are currently attached to Carrier Airwing Eleven and deployed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68).  You may want to check out the group, USS NIMITZ (CVN68) (clickable link).

Where does the Nimitz patrol? Sounds exciting, but scary. Course all deployments sound scary of late.

Here is some info that I got from a friend on another group and thought it could be helpful to many of you here.

As of May 16, 2012, the U.S. Postal Service banned the shipment of electronics that include lithium batteries to international destinations and/or military (APO, FPO, DPO) addresses. Lithium batteries are included in many popular electronic devices such as iPads, Kindles, smartphones, cameras and other electronic devices. The ban went into effect because lithium batteries can explode or catch fire in certain conditions during overseas transport. For more information, visit the USPS Lithium Battery Ban at the USPS Postal Explorer information page.

No, I didn't find a group for Greece or Souda Bay.  If you have questions, ask.  A few of us have had Sailors there, although I know that the Command has changed some since mine was there for his first duty station.
