Hello
We look forward to hearing about your sailors journey. How he/she likes being an MAA (MA) and which kind of job they are doing and how you are doing knowing what your sailor does for a living.
NOTE: Please help keep our sailors safe. Don't give out exact locations.Example: If he/she is in Iraq you can say Iraq but I would not say the name of the camp or a town near the camp. If they are on a ship don't give the last known location. Although some of that is public we don't in anyway want to jeopardize them.

Thank you all for the support and prayers of our loved ones in Japan and for all who are dealing with this crisis.  Kimmydee - my son knows and works with your daughter. I can relate to your stress...I hardly slept the first 4 weeks after the quake and even though my son says it's alright and getting back to normal it is still hard not to worry as mom's do.

I am still praying for all of our sailors there, and for their mamas. I know how worried I would be.

Has anyone heard the latest coming out of Japan? The world news tonight(NBC) said on their broadcast that the Nuclear plant meltdown is on par with Chernobyl.I only hope in the interest of safety that the Navy will keep our sons and daughters safety paramount.

kimmydee, my son is an MAA at Atsugi and knows your daughter...I believe they may be in the same section. He has been at Atsugi for the last 3 years and has loved being there but admits it has been very stressful at times since the quake and the aftershocks.

Anyone else have a son or daughter in Atsugi Japan that is an MAA? My daughter has been ther since Nov 1st and since the earthquakes hates it.

His thinking is he was born and raised there. He wants to work anti-terrorism ... My heart sunk as you can imagine. Most of all, I want him to be happy and do what he wants to do and right now that is what he wants. So I support him 110% ! I cannot help but be proud and admire him.

Hi Felicia, I would be honored to take pictures for you.  Sorry you are not going to be there.  I found out on Wednesday.  Joey is so excited.  I hear next Wednesday is the day for the official choices.  Joey said Hunter wants to go to the Middle East.  I thought he would be so excited to hear Hawaii as one of the choices.
