Lori, thank you!  Will do.

Cori, that's funny, because I was kinda hoping that my son would have an interest in medic, but he doesn't.  Do you like being a medic?   :(  Thanks for the well wishes.

I don't know what my son will choose yet, but he will have some great resources and person advising him on Sunday.  My sister in law's (my brother's wife), brother in law (sister in law's sister's husband)  (haha did you get that?) is a recently retired Chief Warrant Officer and they live in Crestview, FL.  They have invited both of us to dinner on Sunday.  My son has been to their house before and Tom (the husband) really liked Adam, so Adam is hoping to run some of his options by Tom and see what he thinks will work well for him.  And, my sister in law's brother (same sil) is a current Navy Officer, so Adam has been talking to him about his chooses too.  Thank goodness for my wonderful sister and law and her awesome military family.  :)

Betsy- Wow- intelligence specialist! Pretty cool.

You have a safe drive and I will pray for your travels! You will have a great time in sunny FL [ hot and humid though!] and your time with Adam will be wonderful.

Let us know how it all went when you come back ok?

HisMom- great to hear your stories! The weather is secondary to seeing your sailor!

Cori - welcome my dear : )

His Mom, YAY!  Sounds like an awesome weekend.    :)

Lori, I didn't know what SO was either, so I looked it up when he told me that.

It's actually SEALs, or Navy Special Warfare Operator (SO), as they are now officially called.  (but he has no interest and I'm glad since I've heard that 90% who start the training, don't finish)  I think he was just happy to see that he could qualify for that.  :)

IS is Intelligence Specialist.

I am packed and all ready for my drive tomorrow.  :) :) :) :)  I will arrive on Friday. My husband doesn't like me driving more than 8 or 8 1/2 hours, so he uses his hotel points to pre-book my hotels, so that I won't try to drive longer (I've been know to do that, lol).  Adam will be able to stay with me at the hotel and we will have Friday night, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday together.  Woohoo!

It was wonderful.  My son was singing in the car just like old days.  He was happy to be among the family.  He was telling us what a light sleeper he has become.  He fell asleep in the hotel room while we were waiting for his sisters to get ready and we almost needed to shake him to wake him from the deep sleep he was in.  He must have felt secure.  awwww.  It rained most of the time but I felt like I was surrounded by sunshine.
