Hi Donna, what is the 'pie in a jar'? I mean, I get what it is but how do you make it? No clue! Christmas Tree Shop has Thanksgiving cards, 8 in a pack for like $2.50! Great deals there so everyone check it out before the 19th!
Things have been a little crazy for me. If you can make the packing party would you please leave a comment in the discussion above.
And remember everybody, we ALWAYS need mail and cards! I've found Thanksgiving cards in packs of 6 and 8 at CVS, RiteAid & Hallmark. You won't have to write so much then ... :)
Welcome allboyz5! I'm glad you spoke up and introduced yourself. I know it isn't much notice and I don't know where you live but we are having a packing party for the USS Shoup on 10/19 at 12:30p at my home. We are planning to pack Thanksgiving desserts & goodies, plus Chelita's 300 pies in a jar (!!!!!!) and have some fun being together too. More info is in the discussion above. We'd love to meet you. If you can't make it - not to worry, there will be another at some point.
Good Evening! I just found this group and I just wanted to say Hello. My son is currently in boot camp with a PIR 11/22/13. This all so new to me and I am trying to learn as much as I can about my future sailors new adventure. :)
Hello All -- need some quick advice! My son leaves for BC in a week and we tried to purchase phone cards at Walmart today but struck out. He found on-line that some people purchase them at the NEX at BC, but that makes me a little nervous -- I'd rather send him with something. Any and all advice would be appreciated! Many thanks.
My mind has been racing ever since this idea was hatched yesterday.
I will bring them all packed and ready to go, I'll even try to get the customs forms filled out.
So far I have my 3 sister's in law, a good friend and my husband ready to roll up their sleeves and rock this out!
Now I have to get busy figuring out my supply list!
:)
