Hey Donna, I would like to do 4 boxes, 2 for the girls and 2 for the boys. When do we need to have them ready? We are in and out around here for a while, so not able to do a party, but I will soon. So if there is no party, how do I mail these?
Hope you are doing well. Sending hugs... ; )

Anybody want to host a packing party?  Then the shipping costs will be covered.  It'll have to be quick or we'll run out of time.  ANYONE???

The sailors being adopted are on the USS Preble DDG-88 out of San Diego, which is deployed in the Yellow Sea.  There are 250 men and 60 women.

If you can help, please leave a comment containing how many boxes and what you are sending & the info will be shared with the Mom of the Month so she can let the POC know what & how many boxes to expect.

I was just over in the MAS group looking at September's adoption.  The response is so small, it is really sad.  There are 310 sailors on the ship and only 12 comments (some are multiples).  They have a wish list which I will post in a separate comment.  The mom of the month is looking for hometown items to have them receive "love from home".  We have at least 2 'claims to fame' here in MA:  Hasbro toys & games and NECCO candies.

If you are able won't you please consider putting a box or 2 together for this group.  I forgot to write down who we are adopting - I'll go look and post that too.

Let's get busy and send some Mom love from MA!!!

Hey Ladies, I have the Information for the Mothers of Military Children FB page.
there is a box on the page upper right hand corner you can add their name there but you may need their e-mail address. Another way would be have them search for our page in the FB search bar and then ask to join. If they do that message one of the admins so they will know you recommended someone, I think they do some back ground checking (stalking) to make sure they are legit. We have had people join to sell things or even start trouble. Glad you like the page, I think it is the best! Thank your submariners for their service for me please and if you need anything just holler.
See, they are great! Let me know how I can help. Hugs, Johanna

Good morning Ladies, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed meeting all of you and how nice it was to have all of you here. The house actually feels a little empty this morning without all your voices chirping downstairs! We are a strong group of Moms in many ways. I hope everyone took home some peace of mind and knows that we are all here for each other. I am smiling remembering going to the door and having Lori and Patty say they were here for the Navy Mom party, "but we are Army Moms!"... we accept all military branches in this house! I hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend and I know we will all be seeing each other soon.
Hugs, Johanna

Hello everyone, I was not able to make this party but I am looking for other families to talk to hang out etc. I am in Quincy Massachusetts . I want to come to the next party. I am not able to drive because of my health. My husband has to drive me. Can they stay or have to leave?
