OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Welcome Heather and Colette!!  You've joined a great group of Navy mommas here. We try to get together 3-4 times a year so we have a chance to meet IRL.  You've come at a perfect time.  We are going to be getting together for lunch & lots of fun on 8/31 beginning at 11:30am at Johanna's home in Medway.  It will be pot-luck with everyone bringing a salad or dessert to share.  Johanna, I believe is going to do the grilling.  She also has a pool so come prepared with your bathing suit.
If you want to come just RSVP here. I believe Johanna is away right now, but if you friend her she will send you directions to her home - or friend Denise (Dee) or me and we will be sure you know how to get there.
One last thing to bring along is a picture of your sailor. It is nice to be able to see everyone's children.
Very much hoping you will be able to join us too. There are some moms who are arranging carpools from various locations. If you read back a few pages you may find the different moms. If you have trouble finding them leave a comment and someone will answer you.
