Funny you should ask that NausetMom!!!  Johanna & I were chatting yesterday and she has graciously offered to host a Mom lunch or dinner at her home in mid-August.  Exact date and time to follow.

So, everyone what would work best - dinner, perhaps on a week evening or lunch on a Saturday?

Johanna lives off 495 south/southwest from Boston.  (I can never remember if 495 runs north/south or east/west!)

We're very excited that we are going to get to be together soon and hope that you all are too!!

Hi Ladies, just reading your post is a comfort, and the support you give one another.  Congratulations to you Dee!  And thanks to all for the welcomes!  Do you get together in person much?

Hey Donna,

I am well and glad to see that you are as wonderful as ever. I have been in Upstate NY a lot this summer and will be leaving for Greece soon and then Aruba after I get back, then back to lots of tennis and then back to Europe in the fall.
Nice to see you all keeping in touch, hope I see you all soon!

@Donna, I'm home most of this week, (traveling next week) give me a call. We just had a small "Fun - Raiser last night :) Five Guys Burgers and Fries donated 15% of their sales to our organization for the night & we raffled off a set of Red Sox tickets. We had a great time!

@ Darlene, yes, yes, yes!!!  Since Molly's paid the MA fee for us I think we should do something, anything to take advantage of it.  Any thoughts you think we could manage?  I know you travel, so give me a call when you are able.

@ EVERYONE - Back in April I thought we should plan a fun time - do lunch, or early dinner.  I would still like to do this.  Anyone interested??  I'll be glad to make some calls and see if I can find us a place that will give us a room for ourselves (free, of course) and we can go from there.  Still want to include your husbands?  (I can handle that, really.  Well, I think I really can.  I will give it a good Navy try!)   Let's get some chatter going!
