Welcome Katie!  I'm glad you decided to join Massachusetts Navy Moms.  I hope to get the chance to meet you in person sometime really soon.

Hi!

I've been a navy wife for 5 1/2 years and with my husband since boot camp (9 years ago). I currently live in Nashua NH but am from Norwell, MA and my husband is from Marshfield, MA. My husband was recruiting in Nashua and is now on the USS Eisenhower as an MC.

Welcome RyansMum!!  I used to live in your area - Pelham, NH & worked in Lowell!  Small world!  Now I live in Plainville - about 3 miles from Gillette Stadium.  Good thing I am a Pats fan!!  Hope to hear more from you and Jax!

Have a good week-end.

Yes, every year in Tampa.  Dana is the one who usually does the yeoman's work on setting everything up.  So far rooms have been paid for, so it is a matter of meals and travel.  I had hoped to go just to get away, but all the cheap flights were booked.  Maybe another year.

Just wondering, is anyone going to Tampa for the MAS packing party and 3rd annual reunion of Navy Mommas?  The dates are 2/14 - 2/17.  They always have a great time and a lot of fun.  All you need to do is get there!

Ooppps! I thought I was on Molly's page!  Leg is going and now the mind?!

@ all MA Moms, we talked about hosting a meet and greet this spring.  Maybe also include RI, CT & NH Moms.  We are still working on a place but there are some others:

1)  Do we include husbands/significant others?  Families too?

2) Do we want to include a packing party as part of it?

3) If not, what kind of entertainment?  Any great ideas?  Maybe we should consider a silent auction ... but we'd need a group to work on gathering items.

I missed the southern New England packing party, but I hear good things and it seems like people had a good time.  It would be nice to keep that group going if at all possible.

Thoughts?  Suggestions?  Let's get chatting!
