Johanna, we need to talk and/or meet soon to plan our meet and greet for Southern New England Navy Mommas!  Any news on our possible place to hold it? Any thoughts on entertainment or activity?  I'll post on MA Moms page so others can put in their thoughts and ideas.  It would be great to do something around mid-April when the weather is nice and hopefully I'm walking upright like a normal person!

Sheryl, will you be needing a mini vacation to MA by then?  Can I cross my fingers for that to happen??

Kathy ,Donna, and Dee hugs were given and happily recieved by our new Swcc guy .
What a great time we had . San Diego zoo with Jess on Wednesday ,the Command dinner on Wednesday in the "boat barn"! Very cool .fantastic seafood :) the chaplain was such a lovely man , all the instructors seemed like Teddy Bears. Haha. Then Thursday the pinning ceremony was just wonderful . Very proud parents , and families . These young men have worked so extremely hard starting at 89 strong to a graduating class of 21 after 29 wks of grueling training both mentally and physically .
The only thing we really felt was the missing smile of our youngest sailor in Italy :( but he will soon be joining his brother so we are counting the days on that too.
I am off to sunny Beaufort sc on Monday .house hunting for a rental .but shall be popping in and out . Want to get settled so I can start my pillow case industry going again :)
Thank you all and johana for keeping up with me I'm still at MA mom at heart wherever I will land .

Kathy, I'm so glad you have your sailor home!  You must feel sooo good having her back home.  She did very well, please tell her how proud we all are of her.

We definitely need a packing party so we can meet her.

Becky, how about a MA packing party for February?

Have a wonderful trip Sheryl!!  I know you will.  And make sure to give that son of yours a huge hug for me.  I feel like I know him through you - and I'm proud of him and all that he has gone through to get to this point.

Have fun and give me a call sometime...

Hugs to you all.

That is GREAT news Sheryl!  I loved reading it.  See, I knew you would make the best December MoM!  Thank you for a job well done & especially for picking up for me when my knees dropped the ball ... I'm trying to put the blame for it somewhere than totally on me.

Hey ladies ,
Yep still bugging you all . I heard from my POC with the December Adoption. They had had a few days where they have been off the grid , but all ok now .
Kevin wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helped pack the boxes . They have started arriving in vast quantities . Photos will follow he said, but they just can't get over everyone's kindness to them . Half of the stash so far has gone to FOB s they drop to ,so theses boxes are going all over the province . Job well done ladies .
