I'm looking for a place where we can go out to eat.  Question how far will any of you eastern MA Moms willing to drive to try and include those in the middle or western part of the state??  Framingham, Marlboro, Natick?  We'll find a date towards the end of the month so there is less to little of a chance for snow.  AND CENTRAL AND WESTERN MOMS, are you interested??  Time for people to speak up and add their opinions...

OK, I'm home now.  So I will have to get down to business.  Got lots to do and a computer that is giving me fits!!!  I'm ready to give it a "boot" right out the second floor window...  Isn't it awful that we get so tied to these machines.  Put stuff in, the computer doesn't work right and everything comes to a screeching halt!!  Sorry for the rant, had to get it off my chest.  Since my email isn't working, I plan to go over to the quilting store tomorrow.  Getting a bit frustrated with their very laid back approach to this.  Hopefully a good night's sleep will put me in a better frame of mind.  We just got in from NY and I'm missing the baby so much plus our other son has a serious infection in his gum. He is on antibiotics, mouth rinse, an orajel type product AND pain meds.  His cheek looks like a small apple is inside his mouth ...

OK, no one jumped in and said anything.  So I guess I will plan something for April. I will have to look at a calendar when I get home and pick a date or 2.  Any thoughts on what you'd like to do??  I have some thoughts ... but I want to hear from you all first.  Do you want to go out for dinner some place or do a little packing party?  I'll have to check with Molly as to how much shipping money we have left since that may play a part in everything.

OK, put your thinking caps on!  I don't want to plan on my own.

Since I've been gone I haven't heard about the pillowcase sewing for charity event.  I will send an email to the store owner when I leave N4M.  As soon as I get an answer I will let you all know.

Hi Talally!  We are glad to have you with us.  Kathy is right we have Moms in all stages of Navy life.  I hope that you will enjoy being part of our group.  We are trying to be more active and now that the warmer days are coming, hopefully we'll be able to get together more easily.

Please feel completely free to ask any questions you want.  Someone will either know the answer, or will know where to find it.

You won't find a greater group of Navy Moms!  You'll find they are more supportive than your wildest wish - and fun too.

Once again, glad to meet you!

FYI:  Anyone want to write some letters and/or get schools, Girl or Boy Scouts, friends & family to help out.  I got a message from Molly that they are planning a mail blitz of the GW.  Just thanking, encouraging and showing pride in all that they are doing.  The GW is now accepting letters, don't know about packages yet.  There still may be space issues going on with the ships taking on supplies to deliver to the people of Japan.

I think we need to start thinking about a packing party in April.  Now, I'm not thinking huge here, but I am thinking that with everything going on we need to get together.  We've got Moms w/children in Japan, Behrain and the Med off Libya!  So many worries & prayers going up for our Sailors.

I haven't had a party yet, so unless anyone else wants to have it  (pause)  -- that is your cue to speak up -- I'd like to volunteer.  I won't set a date or start a discussion.  Want to give you all a chance to think about it ...

I received an email with this link.  It is a very impressive sight.  The article says there is one in Newport. Gonna try to find a pic of that one.

I received this in an email and wanted to pass it on

Good to hear from all of you!!

Kathy, I will have to go back and find the person who has direct contact w/Brian and his wife because I don't have their last name! But I can remind her of the Sailor Rescue Group. Thanks for looking into that.

Our little one is still waiting!! Her g'ma from VA says she is waiting for warmer weather cause it is too cold for southerners in NY.  DIL did NOT find that at all amusing, to say the least!!  I try to keep my mouth shut on any comments, but that is how her mom is. Until DIL married my son she had absolutely no relationship w/her parents. She's closer to us than them - I think that is sad, but I love her dearly so I'm happy w/the close relationship!!

IF, she is still pregnant on Tues., the doc is admitting her to the hospital Tues. nite & will begin induction on Wed. AM.  Worried about the early admit. as that is quite unusual. I will keep you all informed.

What a great photo Donna! Thanks for posting. I hope your little Darling arrives soon. :)

My thoughts and prayers are with all of our dedicated sons and daughters working so hard to help others and keep peace.
