I have been looking at other sites and noticing all the conversation about the Navy sending in the GW to the Yellow Sea. Anyone from MA have a son or daughter on the GW?? Just hoping all is well with you.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow. I'm thankful for all of you and for your support, love and encouragement following my Mom's recent death and my Dad's 6 weeks ago. It has meant more to me than I can every properly thank you all for.

Just looking at the calendar. How would you all feel about coffee, cake & conversation at my house on Dec. 11th? Maybe plan to get together around 1:30 or 2P? Let me know your thoughts and if you'd be able to come. I'll PM my addy and phone # if you can make it. Nothing fancy. Just a time to be together before things get really crazy for Christmas. I like the idea of planning a relaxing time together.

So does anyone want to get together just for coffee/tea & goodies? I'm game and you are welcome to come here if you'd like. Nothing really fancy -- just a chance to get together and talk. Let me know what you think.

Hi Everyone! I met with the principal today. The notes and pictures are well underway and will be ready to mail right after the first. The 4th graders are the ones who really took to bringing items in for the sailors on the USS Cape St. George. The other upper grades are a little slower. He will try to get volunteers from the PTO to do the packing and will ask that group to pay for the shipping. So it looks like I'll be off the hook & you all won't have to worry about a really fast packing party. Maybe we should just get together, relax and enjoy the success of the first p.p. and make some plans for the next time?
Tami (from Lowell) would like to be the next hostess so that will make a shorter trip for some of you. It will be interesting to see what "Molly's Adopt A Sailor" comes up with for the Jan. adoptees. Whatever it is I am certain we'll be able to have fun with it.

Welcome Coke51! The one thing that is going on is that I may have gotten in over my head. So, we may end up having a very fast packing party. I looked to see where you are from ... not too, too far from me. If and when it materializes I will be sure to let you know. We are trying to be more active as a group, but even when we aren't you can always count on the MA Navy Moms for support. They are the best and have gotten me thru the worst weeks of my life lately. Just so happy you've joined us.

Hi, MA moms. I'm happy to join with you. My son is stationed in San Diego on a sub. He will be going on his first deployment soon. I live on the South Shore. Anything going on that I should know about?

I may need some help with the items the schools here in Plainville collected. I am going to try to get myself together and meet with the principal on Wed. Once I see what they have I'll let you know. Anyone able to come to Plainville if we need another packing party to get this stuff out? I'll let you know later. I can't quite wrap my mind around anything right now. Sorry.
