As a suggestion for another time, I would love to go to Sherwood's, which is right in that same plaza with the wine tasting place.  It's a microbrewery and they make root beer, and I believe, ice cream.  Wendy told me about it.....feel free to chime in!

MI mom,
Keep those prayers going for your son. This will be one of many growth experiences he will have. Prayers also for you as well as you support him through his ups and downs!

MI Mom - I'm praying for peace and calm thinking for your son.

Mi mom, try not to worry too much. Most of the people that fail those tests were busy doing other things when the rest of the division was able to study slides with the test questions on them. He will likely be able to study as much as he needs to by then because the RDC's want him to pass as much as he does.

MI Mom, your son is in my prayers.

Michigan Moms please pray for my son.  We got a call from him today and he failed one of his tests.  If he fails it for the second time on Wednesday we are going to get a call and he may get sent home.  He is a really good kid and helpful kind person in general who is very deserving.  Thank you for your help.  As always if there is anything I can do for you just reach out.  For those at the wine tasting it was a great time I could use some of that wine right now.  I am in Milwaukee today for work just 40 miles away and there is nothing I can do but pray.

Welcome Navy girlsmom!!!! You are in the right place with an awesome group of moms!!!

I am the mom that Marianne told you who has a Sailor son (he went in at 18, will have fours years in September). We also have a Marine son (20 years old now) who has only been in since December and will be heading to Japan end of July. Our daughter is 18, will be shipping to Navy boot camp in September.
