Dawn - I know what you mean about the time we have to remember they have their own priorities and be thankful for what they give us. Rob is coming home the end of the month for a week and I know already he has most days planned out with out us. tell Hannah to have a safe trip back and it was nice to meet her in Frankenmuth

Bratsmom, have a wonderful & safe trip/visit! Two weeks is a lifetime now a days.

Penny, it is so wonderful to hear that your son is getting such a reception. My son has told me that he is not sure how to respond to people he doesn't know coming up and thanking him for his service. I have told him to just say your welcome or it is my honor/duty. It sure makes me proud too, just like you are when you witness it with your son. It really does give you a feeling that there still is good and hope here. Thank God for the Navy and all our military.

Hope you all have a great time in Frankenmuth. I won't be making it. Have to work after all. Really wanted to be there and meet so many of you. Probably won't make another one because I am moving to Florida in October. I still plan on keeping track of the Michigan Moms though since I am always TRUE BLUE. Be it U of M or Navy. BTW...thanks for everybodies prayers for my SIL Luke in the AF. Him and his squardon returned Monday, June 22 from Afghanistan all safe & sound! Now my daughter, Ali & SIL Luke can close on the house they bought in Arkansas while he was in Afghanistan. They are staying in the AF, but settling down in AR for atleast 5-6 years. Congrats Jeanne on your son's graduation! Also, congrats to Penny on your son's graduation from A school and assigned to USS George H W Bush! Finally, congrats to Kathy B and Rachel getting her wings! They are all awesom accomplishments!!
