Momof10, welcome--at least you had one girl out of all the boys. I heard of a family somewhere up north that I think has 12 or 13 kids all boys. My husband says he is out numbered now that our son is in the Navy-we have a daughter still at home, she is 26 and getting her masters to become a nurse practitioner.
MarianneKT's Mom - Hi! Thank you.
I was actually telling my sailor that he will be arriving just in time for the air show. He laughed and I see an airshow everyday - since he has been in P'Cola where they train. :)
It is amazing you will love it!!
Hi tysmom - Yes 10 - really :) I have given birth to them all. NO twins. they are 23 (b) - he plays professional hockey, 20 (b) - our sailor, 18 (b) - college freshman at University of Steubenville - a Catholic University in Ohio, 16 (b) - Senior in High School, 15 (b) Sophomore in high school, 13 (b) - 8th grader, 12 (b) - 6th grader, 10 (g) - 5th grader, 6 (b) - 1st grader and 5 (b) - Kindergartner.
He had PIR in June and just graduated from A school - now he is off to Oceana for C school before heading to his duty station - China Lake :)
Welcome Mom of 10!
We are headed to Norfolk to visit our daughter. Her boyfriend invited us out to see the Blue Angels at Oceana.
Wow mom of ten, really??? Thats great, I topped out at 4 of my own and three extra.
PIR, enjoy, when that door opens...nothing like it!!! Hug him!!! Lots!!!
Going to HI in Nov. See that sailor of mine.Due to be deployed later this year. A friend is going along this time.
Love TC!!
Walked the bridge this year too.
New puppy as of three weeks ago
And I help take care of my brain injured BIL once or twice a week.
Yup, life is busy.
Julyasmom, how's that camper working out? Looks like we still have some nice weather for it.
Yvette, that is a nice update. We were in Maine the middle of August to help the sailor's family move into larger housing. Now that they have two children, it was sorely needed. They went form one tiny bathroom to 2 1/2 baths and more bedrooms. They have a two story housing unit and still waiting for orders. Scott's restrictions from his surgery should be off the end of this month.
Welcome Mj. There are a lot of groups and information on N4Ms - sounds like you've been searching it out. PIR is amazing, especially the changes you see in your sailor. Keep those letters going for now.
Hey, everyone, we've been lazy (or busy). Time to chime in and let everyone know how you are.
Hi!! I was so happy to see this group!!! My son is graduating A School today in P'Cola and then heading to Oceana for C School before going to his duty station.
MJ, welcome to the group. Remember you are never alone and we are always here for you. We have all been through this so we understand all feelings.
