Navygirlsmom, my heart goes out to you.  Praying for you and your family.  I was happy to see that they will let your daughter call you.  Even though it is only for ten minutes it will mean the world to her and you. God Bless you.

Hi Ladies!

I have been informed that we will get a call from our daughter tonight after the Chaplin informs her of her boyfriends death. They have said we will have only a 10 min call. If you could please pray that we will be able to say everything that she needs to hear, and that God will guide our words in order to provide her with the support and encouragement she will need to continue!

Thank you!

Welcome to the newbies!! Glad to have you with us!!

Karen, that is wonderful, enjoy your time together!

Our Navy son is underway for a couple of weeks and our Marine graduates from his MOS tomorrow morning and then he will be ready for pickup at the airport about noonish on Friday!! We can't wait to hug on him, he will be home almost two weeks before he has to go back to VA and head to Okinawa, Japan. So happy and glad our boys have spent time together these past few months. We are down to 60 days for our daughter, we will be enjoying and celebrating her high school graduation Saturday!

Thinking of ya'll!!! Looking forward to getting together again!

daysia - so your son is going to be a MA?

Wonderful for those who have had their sailors home or will.  Give them extra hugs for us!

karent0801, my son just left on Sun after being home for 2 weeks.  It was wonderful.  Tried to do a little something everyday with him. One thing for sure I know he ate very well.
