What's the latest on the get together at the wine tasting/ painting?  If the date is still up in the air, I could go the 29 - just found out about an Open House on the 22.  Finally received an email from my son today.  He's been on an underway for the last 6 weeks or so....my day was made to finally hear something!

I'm counting down the days for you Ruth!  Hang in there, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Dunesmom, your light is coming today?  Clean girl, clean.  The summer awaits you!  Sorry it won't work to see Dune, but maybe you can go to Hawaii.  Need anyone to carry your luggage?

Lorraine, drive safely back.  Glad you are having a great time.  There's an 80% chance of rain here tomorrow, but I don't know about your neck of the woods.

Lori-hope all goes well for your son's dental work.

We are going to have to get a gathering together soon.

Good to hear from you Dunesmom. Sorry you won't be able to visit him in Washington, but happy for him that he gets to see Hawaii.

Lorraine, so glad you were able to get together with your sub Moms again this year.  Washington would be a great place to visit! Hope all goes well when he moves cross country!

Having a great time in FL with Navy moms from LA, TX, GA, MN, and MI - just 8 of us total in a beach house.
Dunesmom, I still need to get details but Scott's new duty station might be in WA later this year. I'm excited about that. We might have to travel together to go see our kids.
I'll be traveling home Wednesday and it looks like bad weather from KY to MI. Keep me posted if you hear anything.

oh there you all are... so sorry I have been gone for a while.  so busy with the end of school and taking a class last month and one again this month.  Hope everyone is healing and enjoying their vacation/visits:).... Dune is headed to Hawaii at the end of the month and is very excited.  we were suppose to go out to WA for a visit but he is way to busy getting ready for this experience.  one day we will get there to his lush green of Washington.  for now i'm just so happy that he gets to see another part of the world.  and yes a nice part this time.  One more day of work... lots and lots to do to close up the kitchen but will be glad it is done.  Please take care my Navy Momma Friends and i'm sending lots of hugs(((()))))

Ruth VH, his dental work got rescheduled to today (Mon).  I will let you know how it went.  I did read up on it and it doesn't really sound like anything major. It looks like they put a type of veneer over the tooth because of any porous areas.

Loving this beautiful weather! I actually hate to leave for FL in the morning but I'm meeting up with some navy nuke moms from a small group I'm in so it will be worth it.

Lori, it's always great to hear from our sailors. Hope the dental problem works out.
