Heard from my son on Mon and then again last night.  New something was up--he doesn't call twice in one week.  He had went to dental and he has to have some type of filling for his worn away enamel.  I think he just want to hear mom say it would be fine.  I could tell he felt better after that because he didn't stay on the line much longer.  LOL  Nice to know he still needs me.

Ruth, I hope they get those fires out soon and get some rain in that area. I know of other people affected by the fires too.

Hi everyone,

Tomorrow at this time I will be flying the friendly skies to visit my sailor in Hawaii. This has been an off again, on again trip due to extenuating circumstances, but God had his way of working it out.

When I get back, my niece and I want to start planning card making days and we need a "lunch" in the GR area. Now that I am retired I have sooooo much extra time, not....

Peeping in and things sound pretty good with everyone.  So glad that poison ivy is getting better.  yea why didn't they give him the shot in the first place?  So glad so many got to hear from their Sailors.  I did get a fb message from mine.  I thanked him and let him know I wanted to hear his voice, he is in the states and has a phone.  Yep he called right before bed.  Was a nice day with our Daughter and got to spend time with Hubby's Aunt.  Beautiful day for sure.  Hope you are all enjoying your week.
