Got to wear my 'Proud Navy Mom of a Nuke Sailor' shirt to the parade this morning. Even our little town has a wonderfully patriotic celebration on Memorial Day.

Shelby,
I would be interested in coming. Aug 14th would work, the weekend before (the 7th) would not be a good weekend for me.

I was in contact with the event coordinator for the silversides and I will be making a trip there to make the final arrangements for the M&G in Muskegon. Does anyone know how many people showed up for the M&G in Frankinmouth last year? I was trying to get an idea of the head count. I have 2 people that emailed me are there anymore out there that want to come? I will have the exact date next week.( Aug. 14th is tentative.) shelbypurdy@yahoo.com

I am definitely interested in a meet and greet in August. The location sounds great!

Let me get with the silversides org. and the naval recruiter and i will set a date. I'm thinking August? Is that enough time for everyone to make arrangements? I don't know what the silversides has to offer but I know they have a picnic area. I will get back everyone. Email me with address and I can send out notices that way also. shelbypurdy@yahoo.com

I would love to come to a m & g up north in Muskegon. I just need to figure out my new work schedule. June 18-July 4 is not a good time though. My 2 granddaughters who live in Arkansas are going to be here in Michigan for the two weeks visiting with me. Let me know when and where and then I will be able to verify my availability.

3dsmom, if your in the area look me up.
I would love to have a m&g this summer. Was thinking the USS Silversides is in Muskegon and that would be a great place for a m&g. anyone interested let me know and maybe I can put something together there or Silver lake. Both places would be nice. I need a head count to see if we have enough interest.
Dawn and Cheryl, are you interested?
