Thank you, Uli & Ruth VH! No, my DIL is going to be living in Ohio with her father while Allen is at D.G. It isn't that far to drive for a visit though so will be doing so often. I will try to bring beautiful weather with me, Ruth VH, but you know how Michigan weather is...lol! I hear it has been pretty warm and nice up there lately. Hope it stays. Also, praying for my SIL (Air Force) who is deployed to Afghanistan right now. He is on his 3rd trip there and will be there until August atleast. Praying for my daughter and granddaughters in Arkansas while he is gone. Thank you all!

Remember - you can get a free banner or sign for your sailor coming home at

www.buildasign.com/troops

I got the banner for when Katie came home at Christmas and had a card that fits perfectly on my front door that I leave up all the time.

Made petty officer over the last cruse out. Still working on his dolphines but says that he will get them on this next cruse. He is actually home for a few weeks goes back to GA on the 22nd. It's great to have him home evan if I can't keep the frig stocked, forgot what it was like to have someone constantly eating. Wedding planns are off I guesss for now they decided that they jumped too fast, better now then later.
Well the snow, hopefully, time to plan our warm weather get together. Let's amke plans.
I am issueing a call for all Michigan Navy mom's to get involved with your local Blue Star Mother's group. Michigan has a very active group of chapters. I belong to the Blue /water group. But there seems to be few Navy mom's so let's show the Army and Marines that we are just as strong as they are I know we can.
Well hope to get back to you soon. love all of you...Paulette

Hello all! Just wanted to update you that Allen has graduated K-9 Dog Handler School in San Antonio. He is now visiting in Michigan at his father's with his wife (my DIL), Jessica. They made it safely to Michigan yesterday and plan to be there for a couple weeks. Allen ships out for Diego Garcia on May 1 for his year of overseas duty. Please remember them in your prayers, because Jessica is pregnant and will be going thru without Allen by her side. I am moving back to Jackson on May 18th and plan to be in Jackson by May 20th. I already have a house and job lined up. Praise God!!! Looking forward to getting together with all you wonderful people on N4M!!!! Thank you for caring about all my family and me. See some of you soon!
