OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Happy New Year to all. It has been way too long since we have gotten together! Let's meet at the Buffulo Wild Wings Grill (76 Northtown Dr. NE, Blaine) at Northtown at 1:00 PM on Saturday, Feb 20th. I will send out another announcement closer to the date. Time to catch up and let our other moms know what's happening with our sons and daughters, mates and friends in the Navy. Please let me know if you can attend so I know how many people are coming. I want to be able to get a table big enough for all of us! Hope to see you then. Bring pictures!!

Ted has my high speed all set up for me! I am just having problems with downloading pictures to this site. When I download them, the first screen that comes up is so far at the top that I can't read all the instructions, so I guessed! Then as the pictures first comes into the space, all that shows is a bunch of "garbage words" with no picture. But when I send it....Poof! There is the picture! And it doesn't take 30 minutes to send! I am so happy!! LOL This will be so much fun when I get used to it. And YES, Carol....Wives should come first! I might have to remind that guy I live with of that fact!
Glad you are good to go. The pictures look good. So does my rose.
Have a good night, and a good Monday.
Great pictures! (should have left up the beer sign) LOL! I'll catch you all next time! xoxoxo
I decided that a Thank You for the Buffalo Wing Wings place just wasn't going to be enough, so today I had a nice flowering plant delivered to them. I talked with the manager and let him know how nice our wait-person was (and couldn't remember her name at the time) and how much we enjoyed our time there. So, there is the update for you.

Now for other news: As soon as things sorta settled down around here, Ted's computer hard drive crashed! Poof...couldn't even get the thing running. After having one guru here, trying to fix it (which he didn't), we went looking for a new computer for the Hubby. Of course, mine is running just fine, for now. I will have to back everything up as soon as I can, put things on CD's. That is, as soon as I figure out how to do that. This technology sure is complicated!

I am so sorry that the others were not able to meet with us. Maybe next time. I am getting to believe that these get togethers are way to far apart! At our ages, (at least mine) we might forget whos who!
Have a great day everyone!
