Hello everyone. I am taking charge (kind of) of organizing a get together. I know there are people north and south of the cities. I am planning to organize something for the people north of the cities, but if people south want to attend, I will try to find somewhere that is convenient for everyone.

Please let me know if you are interested. I would like to get something done this month - I am thinking May 29 or 30.

I would be interested in a get together. I think that I am free those dates. Will have to check. Thanks for setting it up.
I should be around - I will watch to see where.
Hi, my son graduated on May 1. Would love to meet people from here that have sailors.
Marian - graduated BC on May 1? Or something else?
Yes Boot camp, sorry. New to all of this. He is in A school now or at least there, school hasn't started yet.
Hi, I'm in Richmond just about in the middle of the state, so nowhere is too far. Unless it'd be up in International Falls or something. :) I'd love to go to a meet and greet. Let me know if you need help. Thanks.
I'm game...I'm actually on my way to PIR for my son Chris who will next be heading for Connecticut and subs...I'll keep checking back. I'm located in White Bear Lake but moving to St. Paul Battle Creek area probably in the fall, IF my house sells...hummm...hopefully.
Hi, I am new to this site and I am interested in "meeting" as you suggested. I think it would be wonderful to meet others that are in the area and have a family member in the Navy. Maybe a VFW or American Legion location would work out for a group get together. With the Minnesota weather, an outside location might not work out so well, unless the location had a covered area. Minnesota weather....don't you just love it? 75 one day, 40 the next!! LOL Please let me know time, place and date.
I am definitely interested!!!
Hi all -

here is what I would like at this point. I would like your first name, your sailor's first name, and where you are located. I think the idea of a vfw or american legion would be good - just because we have to support our military.

I would also like to know if Friday night, or Saturday day, or Saturday night would work out better for everyone.

Thanks!
Trina
Would the get together be for just Moms? or can Dads come along too?
Carolyn (is my name)
New Ulm, MN

sailor's name: Kristen

Either day would be fine!
