Hi, JJ.

It just got into port.  My husband leaves today.

Enjoy the end of your time, and PLEASE bring back some warmth!!

Well girls, here is the news:  The Stennis either just got in port or just left today (Saturday). Was thinking of Carol and her husband because of the Tigar Cruise. Tomorrow Ted is trying to get me to do the glider plane ride over the mountains.  I just might do that for the heck of it.  Might be interesting.  Trying to soak up some sunbeams before we head back to Minnesota. Watched the wind surfers and the kite surfers today. Everyone of those guys have great bodies!!  Yes I did notice!  LOL Remember, I'm married, not dead.  Until we get back.....

Hi everyone!  I will try to answer all the questions from my Navy Moms. First off, let me tell you that the Internet connections are not always the greatest on the Islands, so it has taken me a while to get to this page and read the emails.

First off...I haven't gotten back to the main land yet!  I am still soaking up sunbeams . We first spent time on Oahu with Eric and family.  Then we headed out to Maui to "our" island of choice. Love it there. After spending ten days there, we are now back on Oahu with Eric Robert and family, enjoying all of them including Baby Kate.

Weather here is the same most days...sunny and 82 everyday. However, Eric Robert is in the mountains, so it rains several times a week in the morning before the sun comes out to warm everything up.

Let me tell you all something.  When coming onto the base, the Navy guards are the best!  They are well put together and very respectful. And Eric Robert looks so good!  I mean that boy is buffed!!!! We had dinner last night with his commanding officer and heard wonderful things about Eric.  I was just beaming! Everyone really thinks alot of Eric and he is well respected on base by all. Doesn't that sound like something a mom would say!!?? It wasn't me but the Captain that was reporting that to me.

Baby Kate is growing like a weed and talking up a storm. She reamins on the go all the time and it is hard to keep up with her.  But, I try my best.  Ted is also enjoying the time he can spend with her.  She says some pretty funny things at times.

Better go get dressed.  Things are really laid back here and no one is in a big hurry, except for the traffic in Honolulu.  Yipes! 6 lanes of traffic, bumper to bumper from 3:00 to 6:30 or 7:00 PM.  Worse than Washington, DC. Eric is only about 15 minutes from the famous Pipeline on the North Shore, so we will also be seeing that again before we leave.

We will be back to Minnesota on Tuesday of this next week. It will be hard to leave here with it's awesome atmosphere and culture, the weather and of course Eric and family.

Praying for all our sailors and God's hedge of protection around all our military.  Praying also for good, honest, and right decisions made by our government leaders.

Maybe like Ericka posted planning a March date to gather would be good.  I thought the Common house in Bloomington was easy to get to.

There were three before the Lincoln arrived.  The Stennis left, that's my son's, so maybe there are still three.  I just know that they need are prayers.  :)

The Abraham Lincoln Strike force was "escorted" this morning in the Strait of Hormuz by Iranian military.  Here's a link: http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/middle-east/iranian-patrol-boat...
