DavesMom - That's awesome you got to do the Tiger Cruise! We hope to do that someday. What a great opportunity!!
Hi Navy Moms. I got home from my Tiger Cruise late last week. It was glorious! I loved everything about it except for the sleeping quarters and, well, the head left a lot to be desired, too. :) Best of all I had lots of time with my Sailor! Hope you're all doing well and enjoying the heat. The State Fair is just around the corner! Time flies!
Good afternoon everyone,
Its been awhile since I have checked in on this site. Sorry that I couldn't make the last get together. Hope everyone's summer is going good even though it is ending to fast.
My sailor is still over in Japan doing good and loving it.
We had a few tears but also some laughs! It was so great getting to know Ella, the sister of one of our sailors. I love to see the youth of today take time out to hang out with some older women on a Saturday afternoon. We really can't wait so long to have another get together. The Navy Moms get it!
I agree 100%, SaltyMama. Great to see old friends and great to meet new ones. Glad so many could make it despite the stormy weather.
Hi everyone! We really had a great time getting to see our "old" Navy mom friends as well as meeting some wonderful new ones today. Hope even more can make it to the next one. Stay tuned for further info on when that is!

Oh, boy. I said that wrong. We would only have to wear a socially appropriate top and pj bottoms. lol. I'm excited to see everyone on Sat. A few from the fb group are coming, too.
Does that mean we can go TOPLESS.....Not a pleasant sight at my house!! LOL I would have to put a piece of tape over my camera lens!! Can't wait 'til Saturday.
Thanks, JJ. Maybe someday we can all meet via video and bring our own lunch to the computer. Not the same as "in person," but nobody would have to drive. Bonus: we could be in our PJ bottoms. :)
