Congratulations, Mrs. Andy.  Sounds like everything went well and made wonderful memories  :)

Try calling the Minnesota State Offices in Anoka 612-341-7184 otherwise try the state offices in St. Paul.  I am sure that they can steer you in the right direction. You might want to try the VA if all else fails.  Good Luck.

Is there a Navy chaplain in Minneapolis that performs wedding ceremonies?

We are having a fondue with about 13 people -- steak, shrimp, scallops, and chicken and lots of wine.  We usually manage to stay up to see the ball drop in New York and then call it a night.

Isn't it great that the ball drops in other places just like in New York????

Steak and lobster sound good.  Enjoy!

Hubby and I are going to have a candle-lit dinner of steak and lobster with a baked potatoe for New Year's Eve.  I get to cook!  Oh Goodie!!  So, knowing that, we will be in bed early so we will have to watch the ball drop in London or some other place that is earlier than we are. It will be midnight someplace!

Happy New Year everyone!

Wow, you are having a full weekend :)

For New Year's Eve, hubby and I will just come home after church and enjoy a few snacks and some wine.

Time will tell if we stay up until midnight.

Our craziness was over Christmas, and like you, we thank God for every moment.

Enjoy and stay safe everyone.

Happy New Year.  Blessings in 2012!

Thanks, I have no energy for that now.  It's taken me all night to catch up on my emails.

Welcome back.  I am done with my "holiday clean-up"!!  LOL  I just have to put the cards away and everything will be back to normal again.

Hi all.  I am back after spending Christmas with my oldest three and three grand kids, AND had about 4 calls from our sailor.  Christmas was as great as it could be.

Of course, all the 4am check ins at the airports really take their toll on a person. :)
