I haven't had a chance to check into a restaurant yet, but am thinking about Chilis or Olive Garden -- both are just off 100 x 394.  I bought a Nook Color a couple days ago and I've been playing with it.

An easy way to check what is available for resturants in any area is to go onto Map Quest. Pull up the map of the Cities, then enlarge to the area where you want to get together. At the top of the map are apps...click on the restaurant app and it will bring up a few in that area.  Hope that helps. Otherwise you can call local shops in the area and ask where they eat.  Either one works. Good Luck. I know you will find something and let us know. Large freeways make things seem not so far away.  Besides, it would be on a Saturday when there isn't as much traffic

It would be about 65 miles from St. Cloud, 24 miles from White Bear Lake.  I'll check into finding someplace in that general area and see what happens.

I here in Mankato an up for the 26th.  We will have returned from Goose Creek on the 22nd and should have lots to share.  I think the 100x394 would be about 75 mi from Mankato, wouldn't want to travel much farther that that.

Whoever wants to setup something has the choice of where it will be. Getting to the restaurant from all directions has been a real challenge. Some of the usual people that come to the get togethers live in Blaine, Coon Rapids, St. Cloud area, White Bear Lake area, St, Paul, northern part of the cities, etc.  Would love to see some others from the south come and join us.

how about somewhere around hwy 100 x 394?  might be close enough for the northerners and the southerners.

Meet and Greet get together for the 26th of March....anyone want to set up a restaurant to meet at? Doesn't matter where..all you have to do is pick a restaurant, give them a call to make sure we can get separate checks and let them know that we might be there for a few hours!!  Let the others know.

I'll try to make whatever date is easiest for everyone.  No plans right now.

whoshero, my son reported to Stennis Space Station last week and is staying in the barracks at Gulfport til he finds something closer.  How long will your son be there?
