FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Fishmom and MN mom, I am in Eagle Lake, 2 mi east of Mankato!  Maybe we could do a mini meet some day in the area?  I will send a friend request to you.

I will not make it on Saturday.  My son graduated TODAY from A school and we are leaving to pick him up yet tonight!  Can't wait, he will be here almost 2 weeks which is the longest since he left for boot camp in August.

I sorry to say I won't be able to meet you MN moms on the 19th.  I'll be comming up to the cities area Inver Grove Heights for a prosperity seminar with our church that day.  I will look forward to when one is scheduled next month.  We will be visiting our sailor in Goose Creek Mar 17-22 so hopefully times will work out, look forward to meeting you  MN moms of sailors.

Welcome!  Anyone that is able to make it on Saturday, the 19th (see above) PLEASE try to make it to the Buffalo Wild Wings in Blaine.  Bring pictures and maybe a camera as well.  We will love to hear all about your heroes, whether they are home. in the States or on deployment. We are all here to support one another and help however we can.

Welcome new moms!  Congrats on PIR to tls, I agree that it is just "wow!".  And Lauritz, I'm glad to hear Nathan is on the mend.  I miss a few days on the site and look at all this great news!!  Sorry I won't be able to make the event next weekend, I was looking forward to meeting other MN moms face to face.  I am going on a girls-only snow shoe weekend on the North Shore.  Hope the weather holds!

Hi, I have a sailor at Goose Creek SC.  His PIR was 1/7/11.  We are in so MN.  Mankato.  Look forward to meeting other MN  Navy  families.
