FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

SHE DID IT!!!   I have a UNITED STATES SAILOR!!  Bravo Zulu to her and the rest of her division 073!  Can't wait until Friday's PIR!!!  HOO YAH

JJ - if I told him that I wanted him to come, he would do it.  Even before the Navy he was always respectful and usually did what I asked him to do but since he's been in, he has done everything without even a question, etc.  Including wearing his uniform to go visit his grandma!

Please take in the time change between there and here. May be already time for bed for your hero!!  Prayers are always sent.  Hope to have a bunch of moms (and maybe a sailor as well) at the get together. Kelli....maybe you can drag him with!

Please pray for Jaime and all the other SRs going through Battlestations tonight ... it will be a long night for her --- and for me ---- :-)   Will let you all know when I am the mom of a United States SAILOR!

Hello everyone, I keep forgetting to ask...is anyone else's Sailor stationed in San Diego on  CVN 76 USS Ronald Reagan??? Mine just got his orders. He is still in P-Cola A School until March.

I won't know til almost that day.  My Sailor will be home the 16th so I will have to see how the plans play out.

Should work for me, in training most of the week so might be tide up with work but will try to break away!
