Missed you Julie.  We even had a nice young lady make us a balloon ship with 2 airplanes on it!

Hope you are doing well and keeping warm.  Have a good week.  JJ must be where it is warm by now.  :)  She better bring us some warmth back!!

Please tell your daughter that things WILL get better. It is so hard on these young people to be away from home, be with people that they don't know and take orders for someone that isn't their mom or dad!  But things will get better with every day. Tell you to stick with it because the rewards are great. Give her a lot of encourgement. She is at the beginning of a wonderful adventure. There will be something new at every turn.

Eric Robert new orders will kick in sometime in April, unless, of course, the Navy wants him to do something else!!  I have my doubts since the upper brass is always wanting him for something! Since he has been in for some time, traveled all over the world, this MAY be his last duty. But with Eric, well that could change at the drop of a hat. LOL

Remember, if you need any questions answered or need anything, please let one of us know and we will help out if we can.  OK, I am gonna go get packed for Florida....I am so tired of being cold.

JJ - Will be praying for Eric Robert and his crew members ... when do the orders to Hawaii kick in?

Got a couple of letters from my daughter yesterday ... she's having a rough time of it.  She finally hit the wall emotionally and mentally and had a bit of a breakdown last Sunday.  They have her consumed with fear of being ASMO'd for failing inspections, tests, etc ...

On top of it all, she's been put on LLD for shin splints.  One kid in her ship has already ended up in RCU for them and won't be graduating on the 11th ... another spent 3-4 days on crutches and is trying to catch up to be able to graduate with his division .... it's all very tough --- now is when the faith and strength are tested ...

Eric Robert was deployed a week ago. Off to parts unknown. I will see him again in about a year. May God watch over him and his crew members.

Picture is great, I am really sad I missed it.  Crossing my fingers for Feb.

Nathan got his orders yesterday, staying in Mississippi for sea duty.  He'll be at Stennis and be flown where ever he needs to go.  I'm so excited for him.  He has done great in A school, top of his class right now and will graduate 02/16.  Navy moms understand Navy moms, friends and family just don't get the emotion involved in this whole process!

Cindy, so sorry that you could not make it.  It's good that we try to get together about every month or so.  Hope to see you next time.

Have a good week!
