I will try to make it, it will depend on the weather. But what doesn't in MN this time of year!?! Sounds like just maybe really cold. As long as the snow stays away, I'm good.
I'm sad I won't be able to join you, I work on Sat. but I'm glad you are getting together. I loved meeting some of you at the tea this fall and I hope the new moms take advantage of the great support this group can be.
My son was home for Christmas (an awesome visit) and after the tornados at Fort Leonard Wood we were even more grateful he was home! Lots of damage and loss. A School has been disrupted but they are still trying to get them through on time.
Since I don't know how to put this on the "Disscussion Formum.....Here it is....I will make arrangements for the Buffalo Wild Wings place at Northtown at 1:00 on Saturday, the 15th. Those that can come will be welcomed with open arms!
I don't like driving when it's really cold either. I keep a quilt and a little extra munches in the car. But since I have lived even further NORTH, this isn't too bad. I even got locked out of my (still idling) car when it was -44 degrees. Of course my mittens and scraf were still on the front seat! And no cell phone!! Not a good time!! And I lived to talk about it. BRRRRRR
Julie, it''s been so long :) And it is going to be COLD again this weekend.
Mary, I will put them in my prayers also.
I can't come the 15th...baby shower for my niece, but I'm hoping to make it to one of these. I've never been able to make it:-( One of the Pastors at our church asked if I'd be interested in talking about what it's like to be a military mom at an upcoming women's retreat. Lots of feelings when I think about what I'll say...happy, sad, proud...
Cindy -My son is in Pensacola.
