Thanks. Will be bringing pictures the next time we can get together :)
Congratulations Carol!
Oh, and for all of those who knew that I was going to be a grandmother again, we have been blessed with a beautiful grand-daughter!!!
A huge "Thank you" to all your sons and daughters for their service!!!
Happy 240th Birthday to all the Marines!
DavesMom.....The best thing to do when sending packages, etc is to send it to the Chaplin of wherever you are sending it. That way it will be distributed to those that aren't getting much for mail. Other than that, some people send things directly to a ship or base. Good luck. Hope you get more responses than mine for additional answers.
welcome to our new mom!!
I'm organizing a holiday project at work. We'd like to send Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa greetings to Sailors or even military in general. Do any of you have any experience with this? Who do we give them to so they get delivered to troops? Thanks in advance.
Hi All. Sorry that I missed the Aug. get together. Would have loved to hang out with you. I stopped by to tell you that I found out about a MN Navy FAMILY picnic potluck next Sat., Sept. 19 at 1:00 pm at Veteran's Memorial Park in Richfield. The park is bounded by Hwy. 62 on the north, E 66th on the south, Portland on the west and 11th Ave.S. on the east. I'm not famliar with the area, but it shows up easily on Google maps.
The following is a copy/paste from Sarah Hook on the facebook page: I will supply the grilled burgers and hot dogs, and paper products , if every one else brings something to share, a side or desert and your own beverages. Please let me know how many are comming so I can plan accordingly.
This is Dave's Mom again. If you post your RSVP here I'll relay it to Sarah. My Sailor's brothers are planning to come with me. I hope to get to meet your family members, too!
