Love it, JJ. Next time I will take you along. All I tell my husband is that I don't want a red car. (No offense to those of you who love red cars, but I don't want one.) I can't make it to the party either. Too much is happening. Had a funeral thrown in the mix this week also. Something is always happening to keep things from getting dull.
Take care of that back. Be safe in the snow.

Here I am, late as always! Carol: I won't be going to the Holiday Party, but I will be there in spirit. Still dealing with my back issues. I'm thinking that I should just get a complete body transplant and start all over! LOL
I love car shopping! What fun. I did all my research on line when I bought my car (left the husband out of the loop all together). Boy was he surprised to see MY brand new car sitting in the garage when he came home from work. I discovered that buying a car at the end of the month will get you a much better deal than any other time. I had a blast.
We managed to put the Christmas Wreath on the front door this weekend. That's it. Have a great day everyone.

I'm glad it's over and hopefully we picked a good car. We like to keep them as long as we can!
I'm so glad for Sara. I bet she can hardly wait!!!

Good for Sara!!! When does that start?
Our Thanksgiving was quiet, just my husband and I, but it was good. I started some Christmas things. Packed boxes for my kids and grandkids. My husband's car died, so we had to go car shopping. Now I have a 'new' used one.
My sailor turned 21 on Monday, and he called Tuesday. That was great.
Robin, how is it going?
JJ, are you going to the BSM party?
Time to go see a grade school basketball gamel.

Oh, JJ, so sorry you are sick, but glad you can rest up. We hope to Skype with three of the four kids. Maybe we will even get a call from our sailor. Then the holiday will be complete. I'll raise a glass to you, too. Happy Thanksgiving.

Raise your glass and bless those that are with you! I am hoping that all will have a wonderful Thanksgiving, whether you are with family, friends, or like me, alone (due to a bad cold). My family is spread through-out the States, so even a phone call might not happen. The rest will do me good. Of course, I did get to chat with my mother (85) who was busily making buns to go with the turkey! And Eric, well, his immediate family headed to South Carolina for the Holiday, a nice break from Norfolk. The hubby is off to St. Cloud to spend some time with his sister and father (who we hope will be released from the hospital in time for dinner). So, as I sit here with my tissues and my blanket thrown over me, I will be thinking of all of you. I will raise my "dose of cough medicine" and wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

I am always thankful for whomever is there. I have been too far away from my extended family for almost my whole married life. We have made our own traditions, and now with all the kids gone, especially this year, I look forward to a quiet day with my husband. I am thankful for Skype and cell phones, though. We will talk to all the ones available. There will be a moment or two with a tear or two, but I do count my blessings that we are all healthy and happy. That's how I do it.
I'm also thankful to have met all of you.

JJ, so good to see you last night. Glad you switched over to Chapter 7. I mailed Craig's card today. It may be late, but he will like that I got it from you. They really are neat cards. Hope your technology is working today. :)
