Thanks, Linda. I know it is confusing. My third oldest is the one spending the next year in China. He isn't military. The youngest is the sailor and off on deployment. Heard from both of them last week. We are truly empty nesters this year. The other two (four kids in all) are in two other states. We are w i d e spread. However, they are all experiencing some great, new adventures.
Our sailor is E3.
Hoping your weekend is going well. Enjoy the nice day!

Julie, he skyped with us last night. The time difference is going to take some getting use to. He was good, but the weather is HOT and HUMID. He does have air in his bedroom. He was busy getting familiar with how to get to places. I can't wait for him to get some pictures to us.
Even got to talk to our sailor this past week. He had been out enjoying a port of call. Now they are on their way to another area.
Have a good Sunday.

Thanks for all of the support! I can't wait to get to meet each of you. Don't think that will happen in September though :( I am finishing up my masters and have class that day. Oh well, hopefully October will work.

Carol,
I hope that your son will enjoy China. It is always so much fun going to a different country.
Holly,
Getting together is always fun. We just need more time to get to know one another. It never seems enough time and before you know it....we have to leave. I have our next lunch on the calendar. Can't wait!

Thanks, Holly. I appreciate all the prayers. I have been going through kid withdrawal, but I know it will pass. It's not like they were always around all the time. I'm glad you got to come last week so we could meet. Looking forward to Sept. 26.
