What kind of time would be good to schedule? Is the 1pm time workable? Is the cities a viable meeting place?
Glad the pizza was good, JJ. I'm getting hungry for a good pizza. It's just me again, husband is umpiring again. That is our vacation fund.
I can get the phone and texting ok, but have a hard time with all the computer stuff.
When I ask the hubby or kids, they just whip it out for me. Doesn't do me any good.

OK....I am NOT going to learn this texting stuff. I am way too old. Whenever technology catches up with my "ideas", I will never have to learn texting, I can just use my computer for everything, calling, watching TV, cooking (so I will never have to worry about killing my daughter-in-law with my food), reading a book and texting on my computer, or better yet, just talk and it texts for me! Sorta like one stop shopping! Like I said before, when it takes me twenty minutes to text "I love you" that's enough!! Yipes, what ever happened to the telephone? People still use those things, don't they? It might not have a rotary dial anymore, but the concept stayed the same. You gals can pick on me all you want, remember I have had my son home with me since the 16th and that's all he does is kick on me! I've been practicing. No apology necessary...I know it is all in fun. And that's what this group is about. Having fun and talking about our kids. I really want to get to know Karla and Julie better, as well as the rest of the group. The more I see of you all, the more I will remember the names that go with the faces. Carol, the pizza was awesome. We order from Linwood Pizza all the time (usually on Sundays) so when I called in the order the guy said to me, O, you must have company tonight! I had to laugh out loud when he said that because he knows that it is usually just the two of us sitting on the back deck. Then he followed that statement by asking me if I wanted it delivered to the front door or the back deck. Needless to say, he got a very good tip tonight! I have a big day coming up. My mother and both sisters are coming to visit before Eric and his family return. My mom has never seen her Great granddaughter, so this will be nice. ( I can see the 4-generation picture now). Sometime that Eric will put in Kate's baby book. Bed time for me...Until we see each other again. Maybe we can convince Trina to take me up on my suggestion about the 4th Saturday of the month date.

Good to meet you, too, Karla. Glad you got home safely.
Poor JJ. She'll probably practice her texting before we meet again. :)
Sorry, JJ. Couldn't resist. How was the pizza?

Trina, so sorry about your daughter. Hope she feels better soon. We will do something again soon, I'm sure. Just don't you get sick.

Glad it wasn't a text message, too, JJ! I don't think that we thought of pictures, did we? It was fun to chat and laugh. Maybe a set time might work.
I just got home from my errands and then calling Triple A for the flat tire on my husband's car. That way he didn't have to do it after his last game at 9pm. Did get caught in the rain.
So glad we could meet. Glad you got home safely.

I just typed this but somehow I lost it, so I will retype it. (At least it wasn't a "text message") LOL Yes indeed, we did have a good time. It was great seeing everyone. It seemed way too short. We will definiately have to do this again. Although it seems that summertime is really hard to get people together, with people going to the lake, vacations, etc. For me, I would like to see us getting together once a month, maybe the fourth Saturday, that way it is always the same and we can make arrangements way in advance. Just a suggestion!

I agree, Carolyn. I'm happy because my son is. He made the decision on his own. After a very rough week before he signed on, I told him now he had to do a very good job, because we were supporting his decision 100%. I love his stories, and can't wait for more.
