Hello all!!!

Becky - I would like some information on the Blue Star Mom stuff. Is there a website or something I can go and look at?

I would be willing to organize a get together - but I know there are some people that live way south, and then other that live way north (like me). I would be willing to organize a get together for the people north of the twin cities. Or even people that would drive up from south if they want. I will start a discussion forum on it, and see what happens.

Hi all! I am in Wyoming (yes, Minnesota) and have a son in Nuke school right now. He is in NY, waiting to finish prototype.

I wondered if people ever met and got together - although I live nowhere near Farmington, so would have to do a different one.

Hi, ladies, I've found time to come back on line. Been away for 2 months, but have thought of you often. Spring is always crazy for me and the time from when Craig came home on leave in March has flown by (or should I say sailed by). He is set in Lemoore, CA now. Done with schooling. Waiting to see what orders come next. Should get leave in June before being shipped out. Hope to catch you all later today. Blessings on your day.

Wendy - just posted on nuke moms, but now I remember that Jim was in NY. He should be fine to move in right away - they are used to it up there with all the nukes that come through.

Does Jim have a grad date yet? What is his class number?

Hello - I just found this group and wanted to stop in and say hello. My son (Spencer) is an MM in prototype at Ballston Spa. I live about 30 miles north of the cities. Trina

It is hard. We are not trying to say it isn't. You will be so proud of him when BC is finished. They grow so much.

Vonnie, it does get better. I know that is hard to imagine. There will be days when it is bad, like now, but think positive, and write alot of encouraging letters to him.

Ladies, Craig came home today. (NM, he and husband tried to surprise me, but the airline ruined it. Talk to you tomorrow?)
He's home until next week and then to CA and Cschool.

Our son's PIR was in Nov. right before Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful experience. Just being there and seeing where they lived for those 8 or so weeks. Also, save some money for the Navy souvenirs. We went down on Thursday (left after noon), and we had to leave him on Saturday after he had to be back on base. Some stay until Sunday if their son isn't a grad and go.

Vonnie, just use us to vent your feelings. We all understand. Even if no one answers you right back, know that just typing down how you feel helps.
Did you get your snow shoveled? Hope that you are feeling well. Stay strong. God bless.
