Hi JJ, yes during the week would work for me too especially during the summer as weekends are packed with events. We could do a luncheon or perhaps an early dinner/happy hour somewhere on a weekday. Mondays and Wednesdays work best for me... anyone else have any preference?
I would be interested in a weekday meet up. I have not been able to get to any lately because of so many events.
I have a question! Would anyone be interested in having a get together scheduled during the week, like on a Wednesday or other week day? With summer comes graduation parties, weddings, weekends at the lake and other weekend activities. Just trying to get some feed-back. Any suggestions???? (I guess that was two questions!) LOL
Welcome m885ccc, I am in Mankato, and have a sailor in the Nuke program. He is with the USS Eisenhower in VA. Look forward to meeting you.
Thank you so much JJ!
Welcome m885ccc. I hope that you can join some of the moms when they get together for a luncheon. It will be a way of getting to know other moms who are or have been in going through the same issues that you. Remember that there is NO question that someone will be able to answer. We are all here for one other.
The cemeteries are decorated with flowers to acknowledge our fallen vets. A special prayer will go out to all.
Yes, nice picture. We had a sort of reunion with my hubbies HS buddies. One of the guys had his sculpture chosen for Mankato's sculpture tour. Really a fun summer event. 30 sculptures were place around our town and people do a walking tour and vote for their favorite. (people's choice) which is then purchased by the city to be on display here permanently.
JJ are you riding motorcycles?
Nice picture! I am so sorry that I couldn't be there, but since I can't be two places at the same time, I had to choose. Too bad it wasn't earlier, I would have been there. I'll see want my schedule brings next month. Riding season is here too, so my summers are hit and miss on the weekends.
