Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

We could do a luncheon or perhaps an early dinner/happy hour somewhere on a weekday. Mondays and Wednesdays work best for me... anyone else have any preference?

With summer comes graduation parties, weddings, weekends at the lake and other weekend activities. Just trying to get some feed-back. Any suggestions???? (I guess that was two questions!) LOL

It will be a way of getting to know other moms who are or have been in going through the same issues that you. Remember that there is NO question that someone will be able to answer. We are all here for one other.

Comment by MN Mom of MM on May 18, 2015 at 12:04am: Yes, nice picture. We had a sort of reunion with my hubbies HS buddies. One of the guys had his sculpture chosen for Mankato's sculpture tour. Really a fun summer event. 30 sculptures were place around our town and people do a walking tour and vote for their favorite. (people's choice) which is then purchased by the city to be on display here permanently.

Too bad it wasn't earlier, I would have been there. I'll see want my schedule brings next month. Riding season is here too, so my summers are hit and miss on the weekends.
