Happy Thanksgiving I am so very thankful for all your lives, and that we live in this wonderful country with the freedoms we enjoy because of the men and women past and present who are serving in our military.  Thank you God for their lives.

I also want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.  Safe travel to those who are going away.  I am thankful for all of you here.  This site was truly a blessing when my son entered the service.  I am also thankful that all 4 of my kids are in the US, even if I will only get to see 2 of them this weekend.  I do get to celebrate with my parents and my sailor celebrates 25 years on his birthday this weekend :)

I am so grateful that Tim, Chelsea, and Caden are here for Thanksgiving.  We will be spending tomorrow with all 3 of my boys and their families and my husband's brother and family.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, where ever you are.

As Thanksgiving is tomorrow, I want to wish all of my Navy Moms a wonderful day with hopes that your loved ones will be near to your hearts. Some of us will be lucky enough to have our Navy kids home, sitting at our tables, with that great big turkey with all the trimmings.  Some of us will only be wishing that our kids will be home with us. Knowing that they will be serving our Country in far away places will give us a special peace. We are so proud of each and everyone of them.  We are so thankful that they know that we are thinking of them on this Thanksgiving Day. I, too, want to thank easch and everyone of YOU.  I am so grateful that you are a part of my life.  Have a great day!   Happy Thanksgiving.

Very nice to spend a little time with the group who made it to lunch on Sat.  Looking forward to meeting more and more Moms as schedules permit.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  I'm thankful for the one-of-a-kind support we can lend to each other in this wonderful sisterhood that we didn't choose for ourselves.  I owe my son a thank you for the new friendships that he inadvertently introduced into my life.

My son is on the GW currently in the Philippines. Someone on the FB MN Navy Moms page said there was a mom at the get together on Saturday that also has a son on the GW. If so, I'd love to  connect with you!

Sorry I missed the gathering also.  I had the best day of sales with my Minnesota Sno Flakes ever at an event here in Mankato.  Last Saturday I was at a Church event in Prior Lake, next Saturday I will be at an event in St. Peter, then St. Caire, Lake Crystal, and the final show I have scheduled (so far) is in New Prague on Dec 8th.   Just a very busy time for me in the fall months.  I have only had 1 Saturday off since September.   Glad you all had a good time, so nice to see your smiling faces.  :)

Sorry I missed the get together. Sounds like a fun time had by all. I was at an all girl cousin reunion. Nice to eat, chat and not entertain the men folk for once ; )

What a great time we had once again, as you can tell by the smiles. Looks as though something was up! You will have to ask Margo about that since she started it!  LOL  Pictuces were shared, laughs were had and plans for our next together were talked about.  Back Row: Beth, Amy, JJ, Carol, Amanda, & Julie.  Front Row: Margo, Joan, & Linda.  Congratulations to the recently married children, the newly born and the nearly married. Plans are being made, so watch for the announcement on this page!!  Parents are all proud.  Next time we hope that we have a bigger group of Navy Moms.
