AmyS, we're just glad you came and enjoyed yourself :)

I'm also glad that you and hopefully the others had a good drive home.

Diane, we really are glad to have met Tom.   He took great pictures :) !!

So nice to meet you all today. Even though I was on the quiet side (typical me) I had a good time. The picture turned out really nice!

I had planned to attend, but hubby invited friends over before he asked me.  Will hopefully make it next time.

Hi - I'm new to the Minnesota Navy Families.  My son is currently at basic training.  I'm going to try and make next week's lunch.  I'd love to meet everyone and hear what all of your sailors are doing in the Navy.  See you next week.

Hi AmyS...I am also in Coon Rapids, but Blaine is right across the street!! I am about 2 miles north of NorthTown. I have in my memory-banks that a more quite place would be better for our smaller group.  We usually don't have more than 5 to 7 (sometimes more) people come at one time, but I have high hopes that more will be coming! I love the idea of a room for just us but cannot justify the extra cost. I was thinking (on Saturday) that we should have a chit-chat about a different location for future get togethers. I'll check a few places in the area.  We also have moms from way South, so an every-other month (or so) the South location seems to work for them. With summer coming up, the roads are in much better shape and the drive for all of the moms would seem not so far away. The moms that usually come to the North location are from Coon Rapids, Maplewood, more north in Ham Lake and Wyoming and we have had some from the St. Cloud area as well. The moms south are from the Mankato area, so we have a wide spead of areas. Hope to see you on Saturday. Everybody's Birthday is always fun.

Hi AmyS.  I'm in Coon Rapids.  My sailor is coming home from his third deployment!!!  He should have leave SOON!  I hope that you can come on Saturday.  It is always fun to get together and share about our sailors.

Hello, I have been a part of N4M for a couple years, but not very active so I thought I would take a minute to introduce myself and hopefully get a little more involved. My name is Amy and I live north of the metro and work in Blaine. My sailor is an MM and currently in New York; he is almost halfway through his third and final school before he gets assigned to a permanent duty station. He's really liked his experience so far and since he hasn't hit the fleet yet I have had enough communication from him to keep me going :) Hopefully everyone is enjoying spring even though it hasn't quite hit in full force yet. I am hoping to make the luncheon next Saturday as well.
