Hello Minnesota Moms, Our snow is finally melting and kids are getting ready for their new chapters in life as 1 is still in Africa where it rain for a couple of hours and totally flooded their work sight and it sounds like they are noe back to square one. Blessed for rain but it destoyed the progress, 1 will deploy this weekend, and 1 got his hard copy and is now getting ready for Australia. Please pray for him as I have discovered since Afghanistan, he no longer believes in God and that is very hard for me to take or understand as he was raised in the church. I wish everyone a very blessed Easter weekend and prayer to all of you and your children.

Thanks to your son for his service.  I pray his deployment is calm.

Yes, we can do it...MN Winters (and Springs!!!) make us tough!

It must be the time of year for deployments. My son is just finishing his last three years in Hawaii.  WAY too far away for me, but better than in Bahrain!  I had to go half way across the world to see him there! He was on the mainland a few weeks ago, buying a house in Colordo Springs!  He will be there for the next three years. It is only 17 hours drive, but our other son is only 38 minutes from his brother!!  We can hit 2 birds with one stone.  I can't wait until the move is complete so I can see everyone at once.

Wow Kelly you have had a lot going on. Have fun with the little ones.   My sailor son left  Norfolk 2/21 and has sent an email evey couple days.  He seems to be liking the deployment.  I am ready for spring, enough of this snowy weather.  I wouldn't mind saving up for a vacation in Australia.

Sorry I haven't been on since the get together. A lot has been happening and I find myself getting a little depressed when things are going on with my away kids. My youngest Navy son went to Spain and after a few days there they decided to send him to Africa due to budget cuts, my daughter was in Fallon and on again off again deployment is for sure on. With that said one of her fellow Navy friends called lastnight and will be bringing his 2 children here next week as I will be watching them for most of this deployment. My eldest Navy son got his orders and now I can share~he's going to Australia! Guess where I will be vacationing sometime in the next 3 years =) Yep~Australia. This weekend I will be getting the bedroom ready for the 2 little ones arrival. So much to do and I haven't had little ones for a long time. I hope I can still keep up. National Navy testing yesterday and my eldest took the test. I pray he passed. Last time they only needed 8% so he didn't get it. Hopefully this time he will =) Everyone have a great weekend! Navy mom love to all.

Welcome Norske to our group!  You now have a whole lot of people that are willing to answer any questions that you may have AND you can get to know others in your area when you attend any of the get togethers!  If someone doesn't have the answer you are looking for, someone will find out for you or give you some direction on where to find the answer. Hope to see you soon!

No, so you can set something up.  All you have to do it pick a place, and post it with the time in the "add a discussion" above.
