My sailor comes home New Years also, can't wait.  There was free food at the Liberty Center for the sailors in San Diego, North Island.  Thanks for taking care of our guys

Merry Christmas Everyone. I did hear from my sailor today. He was headed to Disney Land to celebrate Christmas with his girlfriend and her family. I am so glad he has someone to spend it with and then he heads here to MN fro New Years. I am blessed.

Wishing all the MN navy families a very Happy Holiday Season.  We have some unexpected events.  Sailor son went with friends to a mexican resturant here Sat eve,  and was sick all day today.  We think food poisoning.  One other fellow was also sick, but someone else who ate the same food wasn't.  Praying for God's speedy healing for son so he can enjoy the rest of his time here. and tomorrow is suppose to be gathering at my brothers for dinner.  We will see how son feels and how it all plays out .

I'm glad neither of you were in that crash.  I grew up in Iowa and roads tend to be much icier than here.

JJ, glad to hear you are safe.  We delayed our trip until today, and saw tons of cars in the ditch along the way in IA.  Might have even seen some of the cars from that awful accident.  Once past Des Moines things were better.  Stay safe.

Merry Christmas to all!
