OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

More info regarding Wreaths Across America:  The Flowerama on 105th and University Ave NE in Blaine has wreaths available for $14.99. They are 24" and have cones and a velvet ribbon.  They normally sell for $17.99, so you are getting a really nice wreath.  They hope that all the orders are in by Dec 9th to ensure delivery to Fort Snelling Cemetery.  The ceremony is scheduled for Dec 15th at 11:00 A.M. at the Main flagpole area. Thank you for your support of our fallen. For those of you who have not visited or driven by the National Cemetery during Christmas, please take the time to do so, it is very impressive.

You are welcome.  I have to put it on my calendar, too.

Yes, they are, and I think the date to purchase them is Dec. 9th.

I know everyone is focused on Thanksgiving, but Wreaths Across America ran thru my mind today and I was wondering if anyone knows if Flowerama in Blaine is participating again this year?
