How wonderful that you could see and do that!
While I was in Hawaii for work, I was able to see my sailor briefly and I mean briefly. But it was WONDERFUL to get a few hugs in. It meant the world to me. He looked so handsome in his uniform. He also looked very tired, VERY tired. The FRG president contacted me at home and our family was able to put together a package for him which will brought on his boat before his deployment.
Good job on picture, JJ.
Sorry to have missed the gathering, will try for November. Great picture of you beautiful Navy Moms.
Love the picture ladies, I will make it to another get together, hopefully soon
What a wonderful time we all had today! Holly brought her daughter and we had a new Navy Mom, Stacy, also join us. Welcome! For those of you who could not come today, we are planning another get together for November. Watch for the posting in the near future. The Navy moms that attended today, from left to right: Stacy, Holly, Julie, JJ, Amanda, and Carol. Hope all the names are correct.
Here's a way of figuring that out: 15 minutes prior to pushing off of the pier plus driving time from the restaurant to the pier. Then let everyone know what time you have to leave and the other moms will make sure you are on your way in time to make the boat! If that doesn't work.....we will miss you. Hope it works out for you.
I'm still hoping to make it Saturday, but we have a nephew's engagement party to go to at 3pm and it is on a boat so can't be late. haven't figured out yet if I can do both.
Just a couple of days before the October get together! Hope we have a lot of moms there. Love to catch up on our Navy Kids and see how they are doing! See you then. I should be back from Kansas before 1:00!
We always have such a great time at these get togethers!! We are treated very well by all the staff there. The location is listed in the above Discussion Forum for October. Oh...I guess Carol already said that! LOL Sorry. Hope you can make it. Would love to meet you in person!
