Got news of my nephew's back....He had injections of some sort that is to help him with the pain.  Seemed to help right away, but the doctor said that he should give it some time, not to over-do. Rest and no heavy lifting. He has to see the doctor again in a week.

I'm so sorry that it didn't work out right now.  Maybe you will have a better time in Oct.  Hope he feels better soon.

I am so sad for I was to go on a trip with my mom and sister today.  We were going to meet up with my nephew from Texas along with his family, as well as others in Kansas. However, my nephew (from Texas) hurt his back and wasn't going to be able to drive so, everyone decided to re-schedule the trip for October!  Guess what?  When October comes....I'm going no matter what!!  LOL   My mom, who's 87 was looking forward to the trip so she is very disappointed. So, I am just sitting around. making my sister-in-law a special gift for her wedding at the end of the month. Oh well, it gives me a little extra time!

Hello everyone ... really good to read your comments.  I received the 'box' from boot camp today containing my son's items. Really proud of my son but really sad right now.  Thanks for posting, helps alot.  Hope to get to know some of you as well.

Thanks Becky.  We have friends in Winchester, and will stay with them 2 nights, was told it is easy to use the public transit system from their house, and are planning on the freedom trail for sure.  Some one also told me to do the trolley too, as it is will worth it.   I am so looking forward to seeing and hugging the sailor son.

Mrs. Andy - that was really funny. Especially to me as a hairdresser, I posted it on my professional FB page to pass the laugh along.

I know this is last minute but if any of you live in the cities and would like to be my model tomorrow from 3:00-5:00, I am doing a bob haircut

Have been told it is Horse Racing season in Saratoga Springs, so we will fly into Albany on the 16th.  Spend the 1st night at the house Aaron shares with 4 others, then go to Boston.  for a couple days of sightseeing, and Then back to his house and we fly home on the 21st.  Got to secure the car rental yet at Albany Airport.  Am so looking forward to hugging my sailor.
