Hi All --- Wanted to let you all know that my family will be relocating back to Michigan within the next week or so. It has been a roller coaster ride year so far, and we went for a visit a few weeks ago and realized that part of our struggle is that when we moved to MN, we left our family and friends in MI. We have a strong support system there and just need to get back to being around that.
At any rate, would love to come to Bloomington and say goodbye today --- but I work until 1PM and then it's pack-pack-pack the house. I will miss you all and our monthly lunches. Please keep in touch!
JJ, I was at my dad and mom's for the week. Got to celebrate with them and see 2 of my kids. Thanks for remembering. It added another star to the day!!
Did anyone get together today? We are getting ready for a wedding.
Happy 4th of July to all. Wishing everyone a glorious day and especially all our service members. What a wonderful day to celebrate our Independence. Have a great day!
And for tomorrow....Happy Birthday Carol....I didn't forget!
7/7 might work for me, depends if we go to my brother's cabin that weekend or the weekend before.
I was thinking Poor Richards since it's worked well there before. I'll call them.
I am pretty open this summer. We live in Mankato. When we met at the Poor Richards 494 and 100 that was about 65 miles for us. Us being there are 2 other moms from down here that I could bring along to a gathering. If someone wanted to meet in Apple Valley, Burnsville area or in the Eden Prairaie area, that is about the same distance for us and would work fine too. Would love to have you all come down to my house. I am planning to do some sewing of pillowcases for Molly's adopt a sailor progect, we could have a stiching day and eat of course.
mn linda.....go ahead and book something. Whoever can come, will. I have booked many where the turn out has been 4 or under, but we still had a GREAT time!.....Sometimes we have plans that fall through at the last minute and can make it. So, if you want to set something up, go for it.
I have a wedding that day, and my daughter and family are coming. I'm also booked until August.
The only weekend that I'm available until August is 7/7. I can set something up, but that's probably not a good weekend for everyone due to the holiday. Who could come if it is 7/7?
