This may be a little earlier than some of the past gatherings.  Meeting between 11:00-11:30 at

Poor Richard's Commonhouse
8301 Normandale Blvd
Minneapolis
Saturday October 18th.   They have sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, and pizza/flatbreads along with soups and salads.  I'd like to contact them to let them know how large a group we may have.  Seems that 5-6 may come from facebook site.  Who here can join us.

I am sure that the Navy for Moms (on this site) are waiting for the details of the location and time.  The sooner that it is posted the sooner people can make plans!

Thanks, DavesMom.  I cant say enough about the Honor Flight Welcome.  It was awesome. I would have taken pictures, but I didn't have enough hands to hold a camera!  LOL

Hi All.  JJ!  Sorry to hear of your misadventure.  Although it may slow you down I'm sure it won't stop you.  :)  Props to you for going to the welcoming event through your pain.  I'd love to go to such an event in the future.  I won't be able to join you lovely ladies this Sat., but hope you have a great time.  Will watch for pics.

There is discussion on the facebook page about a gathering this Saturday the 18th at a location in a southern suburb.  Let me know if your interested in more info.  I actually can go this time, as I have no craft shows booked for the weekend.  Perhaps we can get a carload of Mankato moms to take a road trip.

Good Morning ladies!  I had the pleasure of attending the Welcome Home for the Honor Flight last night.  I was able to personally thank nearly everyone of our WWII vets.  It was an awesome sight to see all the Patroit Gaurds as well as several hundred family and friends that also attended. the second floor was packed and many others were on the first floor to welcome home our vets. I plan on attending as many as I can in the future. Anyone else attend?  For those who may have attended, and don't know who I am....I was the one standing there on crutches!  As bad as my ankle hurt, I wouldn't have missed this event. AWESOME
