MidwestNavyMom, I think there could be 3 of us from Mankato area, and another mom from the cities area. Can we meet at the Poor Richards Common house?  Anyone else on here want to lunch Saturday the 15th about 12:30ish there?  I will also post it on the MInnesota face book page

If that Perkins is really busy it doesn't seem like it would be the best meeting  place for us.  The only other place we have been before is the Poor Richards Commonhouse just south of 494 on Normandale.  That seemed a fairly relaxed atmosphere.   I know there are other eating places along France Ave. that could work.  Am waiting to hear from ladies down here.

I called the Perkins on 494 and France and they said I would need to get there earlier than everyone else and then once I got there they could put a couple tables together, but wouldn't let me reserve tables. I can do it, but it sounds like it depends how busy they are etc., if we would get tables together. Thoughts?

Sorry I haven't been on here and haven't had time to set something up for Saturday. This week is the end of the trimester and it's been a busy one. I don't know if it's too short notice for this Saturday, otherwise I can set something up for next Saturday, the 15th.

I will miss you all....I will be soaking up sun beams on Maui.  We leave on Wednesday.  Ted and I are sick and tired of the cold and wind!! But I will be thinking of you all.  Have fun and remember to take pictures and post them.  We will have our lap top with us.

I work that day in Blaine so can go pretty much anywhere from there.

I think I could finally make a navy mom gathering providing the weather cooperates.  I do prefer the southern side of the cities.  Poor Richards Common house where we met a few times (in Bloomington I think) is a 75 mile drive for me.  There is also a Perkins at 494 and France area.   I would see if there are any other So MN (Mankato)moms wanting to drive up.
