Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

mi hija se fue para Great Lakes ayer y estoy muy triste es la primera vez que se va lejos de nosotros y se me esta haciendo muy dificil por eso me gustaria platicar con mamas que ya an pasado por esto o estan pasando por lo mismo que yo

Hola buenas noches soy nueva en esta pagina tambien.

My primer hijo se fue tambien el 3 de diciembre y entiendo como te sientes, tambien es la primera vez que my hijo se va lejos de nosotros. Es muy dificil para mi y mi familia. Estos dias han sido muy dificiles y el lunes recivi la caja con sus cosas y estube llorando todo el dia. Hoy recibi la carta tan esperada por mi, lla tengo la direccion a donde le puedo escribir y se que su graduacion va ha ser en Enero 30. Esto me dio mucha alegria por que se que lo voy a poder verlo. Animo!!!

Bienvenida aqui podras venir a platicar con nosutras tus Hermanas del Navy yo tengo a mi hija en el boot camp es la mayor de mis tres hijos ella se fue el 12 de Noviembre y su RPI sera en Enereo 9 2015 si Dios quiere. Yo estaba esactamente como tu y no sibretodo en la primer llamada de no hija no me aguante y me solte llorando antes de que terminara la llamada yo llorava todos los duas y poco a poco nos hemos adaptado aunque hay Dias que me levanto nostalgica pero cuando recivo cartas o llamadas de no hija se me ilumina el dia y este grupo me a ayudado mucho por que aqui nos podemos ayudar escuchar y desahogarnos asi que Beronica animo dia dia sera mejor un abrazote y aqui estoy para cuando nesecites hablar con alguien

Y su graduacion sera el mismo dia que la de tu hijo si Dios lo permite y yo al igual que tu tengo muchas preguntan pero poco a poco voy aprendiemdo esta pagina me a ayudado muchisimo a engender el proceso en que nuestros hijos estan y que Bueno que cada dia mas y mas mamas hispanas entran aqui que es Nuevo para mi por que no hija es la primera en estar en el Navy cuentanos en que division esta tu hijo?
