Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Amanda, bienvenida!!si gustas te mando un mensaje privado para que me des el nombre de tu hijo y division y lo buscare entre el grupo que van a traer al evento. Nos dijeron que los recruits seran de las graduaciones para el 4 y el 11 de diciembre.

benmom - te mande un mensaje privado, le recibiste? asi que tu hijo ya se fue underway. mi hija dijo que el underway de 4 meses se le hizo larguisimo pero le gusto mucho a los paises a donde llegaron. Tambien ya paso sus examenes y recibio su ESWS pin!! gracias a Dios!

Todo se oye muy bien por aqui gracias a dios.mi hijo esta underway por 4 meses.pero muy bien mi hijo.me da mucho gusto ver actividades por aqui.ya viene tanksgiving felicidades por las q tendras a sus hijos para ese dia tan especial.bendiciones a todos.

Mi hija esta en bootcamp y con el favor de Dios se gradua para Nov-25. , la extraño mucho, lo bueno es que nos enviamos cartas y me ha podido hablar por telefono.

gracias a Dios mija ya esta de regreso en Rota. Ahora podre comunicarme con ella mas seguido. Ella esta contenta de haber llegado y poder estar sobre la tierra de nuevo. Dice que quiere cocinar algo para Thanksgiving, imagino que entre amigos/as se van a juntar para cenar juntos. Ya en 3 semanas es dia de accion de gracias. Otra vez voy a ir de voluntaria con mi esposo e hijos para servirle y a compañar los recruits que estan en Boot Camp y tienen un PIR de diciembre 4 y 11. Alguna mamasita aqui tiene su hijo/hija para graduarse ese dia??

Comment by Yoanka on November 2, 2015 at 6:33pm: Hi beronica te entiendo perfectamente, es muy dificil para nosotras tener q alejarnos de nuestros hijos en cada encuentro pero tenemos agradecerle mucho a dios q nos da oportunidad y esa bendicion tan grande de tenerlos esos dias junto a ellos se pasa tan lindo, cuando leia ahora lo q nos cuentas se me salian las lagrimas pq te comprendo ya q todas pasamos por ese momento tan triste de tener q dejarlos una vez más, gracias a dios lo tendras de nuevo en diciembre y pasarán tbm dias hermosos! Ánimo hermana.
Sabes mi hijo tbm esta norfolk yo fui a visitarlo en agosto y si dios quiere tbm nos viaitara en diciembre asi q a esperarlo con mucha emocion y hacerle sus comidas favoritas! Que bendicion.!!

Le doy gracias s Dios por la oportunidad de gozar a mi niño aunque me duela tanto pero lo bueno es que si Dios no lo permite en Diciembre el va a vicitarnos bueno que Dios las bendiga!
